Axiom makes you a wallet the moment you sign up, and that wallet is where every trade in the terminal settles. It is non-custodial, the keys can be exported into Phantom or Rabby whenever you like, and one login can hold up to 25 of them. This page is how it works, how to fund it, and how to back it up properly. The wallet comes with every account opened at axiom.trade/@tradenow, where code TradeNow trims trading fees by 20%.
The Axiom Trade invite code is TradeNow. Axiom calls it a referral code. Enter it when you sign up and your trading fee drops by 20% for the life of the account, from 1% to 0.8% a trade.

The Axiom wallet is an embedded, non-custodial wallet created for you when you register at axiom.trade with an email, a Google account or a Phantom login. Its keys are generated and held through Turnkey's infrastructure rather than on Axiom's servers, you are shown the recovery phrase once at sign-up, and the seed or private key can be exported from settings at any time. Axiom never holds your funds and cannot move them.
It is also more than one wallet. An account can run up to 25 addresses with labels, switch the active one with a click, and fund a batch of them from a single screen, which is how most people spread launches across wallets without leaving the terminal.

The wallet button sits top right, next to the chain selector. Everything to do with money lives behind it: balances per wallet, deposit, buy, convert, withdraw and the wallet manager.
Email with a one-time code, Google, or Phantom. Then a password, then the recovery phrase on screen once. Turnkey holds the key material in a way that lets you sign without Axiom ever seeing the key, which is what non-custodial means here in practice.
The manager creates and names wallets in batches, up to 25 on an account, and the portfolio view reads all of them together. Whichever one is selected signs the next trade. Labels like "launches" or "hold" keep them straight.
Switch the chain selector and the same wallets show their balance on that network: SOL on Solana, ETH on Robinhood Chain, Base, Ethereum and Ink, BNB on BNB, USDC on Arc. You do not make a new account per chain.
Deposit shows the address for the current chain. Buy runs through Coinbase for up to $500 a week with no KYC. Convert swaps between assets and, on the newer chains, between chains: SOL on Solana becomes ETH on Robinhood Chain or USDC on Arc without leaving the modal.
Perpetuals run on Hyperliquid, so the wallet keeps a separate USDC balance there. The SOL to USDC button top right moves funds across; the way back takes a few minutes. Axiom charges 0.01% per perp trade on top of Hyperliquid's own.
SOL you are not trading can earn staking rewards through Axiom's zero-commission validator, or sit as axiSOL so it stays liquid. Both are on the yield page.
You are not locked in. Settings, then Account and Security, then Manage Wallets lists every wallet on the account; the key icon beside one reveals its private key after your password, and the recovery phrase covers all of them. Either can be imported into Phantom or Solflare on Solana, or Rabby and MetaMask for the EVM side.
Worth doing once even if you never leave: importing the phrase into a second wallet app is the only real test that your backup works, and it means an outage at Axiom does not stand between you and your funds. Delete the import afterwards if you do not intend to use it; two apps holding the same key is two places to be phished.
There is no account recovery without the phrase. Not through support, not through email, not through Turnkey. The password protects the screen; the phrase is the wallet.
Twelve words on paper, in order, checked twice. A metal plate lasts longer than paper if the sums are large. Not a screenshot, not a notes app, not a message to yourself. And never share it with anyone: no support agent, no "verification" form, no friend helping you set up. Whoever holds the phrase holds the funds.
One copy where you live, one somewhere else you control. A phrase that exists in one place is one flood away from not existing.
Import the phrase into Phantom on a second device and check the balances appear. If they do, the backup is real. If you skipped this step, you do not know.
New wallets in the manager derive from the same phrase, so one backup covers them, but confirm it after a batch create rather than assuming.
Sign in with the same email or Google account and reset the password. The wallets are tied to the login, not the password.
Import the twelve words into Phantom, Solflare or Rabby. Every wallet and every balance comes back there, and you can connect that wallet to a fresh Axiom account with Phantom sign-in.
The funds are unrecoverable. This is the whole reason the backup section exists.

Only ever restore on axiom.trade or in a wallet app you installed from its official store. A site that asks for your phrase to "verify" or "sync" is a drainer, every time.
What protects the wallet is the phrase and the domain you type it on. Turnkey's setup means a breach of Axiom's servers does not expose keys, and the password stops someone with your open laptop from reading the phrase off the screen. Axiom's own documentation does not describe two-factor authentication on the account, so do not plan around it. Plan around a phrase nobody else has seen, a bookmark for axiom.trade, and a habit of ignoring anyone who messages you first claiming to be support; Axiom staff do not DM. The official website page lists the copies that have appeared so far.
